Heat Transfer Consultancy Technology and Testing

We have a range of capabilities including thermal modelling using HTRI software, CFD modelling and CAD design. We are also able to provide or assist with mechanical calculations pertaining to heat transfer devices.

Air cooled heat exchangers can be both modelled and physically tested in our workshop and on our Air Cooled Heat Exchanger (ACHE) test unit. With this ACHE Test Unit, we are able to build scale models of air cooled heat exchangers and test the performance – giving you complete certainty on the results that will be seen once installed.

Different heat exchanger processes can be modelled including single and dual phase applications, condensers and boilers. Existing installations can be modelled to determine what effect changing process conditions would have on the output of the vessel.

All these services are performed under the control of our DNV certified management system so full traceability is maintained.
